Wind
uplift testing: A.R.T. designed and constructed the first portable
fiberglass bell chamber. Our "Super Dome" was displayed at the '1995
Exhibition of Dade County Approved Roofing Products' to demonstrate
hurricane resistance testing up to 300 psf. Fastener
pull tests: This testing method calculates code compliant resistance,
quantities, and patterns to meet required wind load designs. Lab
Analysis and Asbestos Testing also available.
ROOF MOISTURE SURVEYS Present
day technology allows select roof consulting firms to evaluate
and predict, with a reasonable degree of scientific certainty,
the condition and projected longevity of existing roof systems.
Although maintenance is much less costly than roof replacement,
it is more difficult to determine the causes of isolated roof
problems. Moisture surveys provide the critical data to determine
the origin and solution of problem areas. A.R.T. moisture surveys
include scale roof plan, areas of entrapped moisture, maintenance
items, photo documentation and comprehensive written report
with maintenance budgets. Moisture survey techniques include
radioisotopic, infrared, capacitance and electronic.
